This image is available as a laminated print in three sizes:

Kyoko Wood-Block PrintSize of print: 19.2 cm x 20 cm Designed by Patrick O'Hara based on his observations in Kyushu, Japan, of the fringed Iris japonica and the butterfly Anthocharis scolymus. The print was made in the traditional Japanese manner by the artist's daughter, Rachel O'Hara, who studied the techniques in Tokyo. Seven different blocks, one for each colour, were carved to produce this print, and special shading was achieved on the background block. Produced especially for Patrick O'Hara's exhibition "Secret Gardens of the World" staged at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Wakehurst Place, Sussex, to mark his 25 years as a botanical sculptor in May 1994. sold out Buy it in our shop |
